Events on Crew Website
Events on Dashboard
United Virtual holds multiple events per week. A list of our events can be found in two places on our crew website.
On the dashboard of our crew center, there's a section titled Events & Focus Airport. This provides a look ahead at the next few planned events. Clicking on one of the events will take you to the details page for that event.
Events Calendar
The other option for viewing events is by navigating the sidebar navigation on the crew website. Under the 'Activities' option, select 'Events'.
The events calendar will list the days of the month and any events that are taking place on a given day. You can change the month you're viewing by using the left and right arrow buttons at the top of the calendar.
Clicking on an event will take you that event's detail page.
Event Details
After clicking on an event, you'll be brought to the details page for that event.
From this page, you can view the Event Description by clicking on the box titled 'Event Description'. Event times are listed below that, both in local and zulu.
Local event times are based on your computers time. If viewing this page on a mobile device, the local time will show 'Not Available'.
The map will show you your departure and arrival airports. If departing and arriving at the same airport, as in the picture above, only the one airport will populate on the map.
To sign up for an event, simply click the Sign Up For Event button at the bottom of the page, over to the right.
Once signed up for an event, your name will appear on the 'Attending Pilots' list.
If you wish to withdraw yourself from the event, you can click on the Withdraw From Event button that is now red.
Flying The Event
It's now time to fly the event! As discussed in our Events on Discord page, all of our events and group flights will take place on Discord. To find a flight to fly for this event, you may either find a flight through our scheduled flights database, or create a charter flight.
Placing a flight into your bids is required if you would like to receive credit for participating in an event.
