Tours

Tour Center

Tours allow our pilots to experience parts of the world they normally wouldn't travel to, while also providing unique and exciting experiences. Each tour has its own theme, and can be flown with any aircraft type that's available in our database. But, be aware, not every airport you find yourself traveling to, can handle every aircraft type. Tours are comprised of planned legs or flights, which must be completed in a specific order. Upon completion of a tour, an award will be granted to the pilot on their profile page.

To view our Tours, use the sidebar navigation on the crew site and navigate to the 'Activities' category, and then 'Tours'. The default view when entering the Tour Center is a view of all Tours available.

The tours pictured above are not all of the tours available. Please visit the crew website for the complete list.

The different colored ribbons in the top corner of each tour represent the status of that tour, in relation to you.

In this next section we see a map displaying the different legs of the tour. The green flag is your starting point, and the red is your ending point. The different numbered flags are the legs or flights between the start and end.

To the right, is a list of the flights. The information displayed for each flight lists the Airports, Flight Time, and Mileage. From here, you will also add the flights to your bids. Click on the blue + button to add to your bid.

The yellow buttons with a clock icon are flights that have yet to be completed. Flights must be flown in the order they are listed.

When you click on the blue + button to add a flight to your bids, you'll get a pop-up asking you to choose your aircraft for this flight. Select from any aircraft within our database.

Certain tours require you to fly into very small airports, with very short runways. Pay attention to runway lengths at these airports so that you can select the right aircraft for the job. Choosing a B747-400 for a tour leg that has you flying into an airport with a 3,000ft runway, wouldn't be ideal.

Once you've chosen your aircraft, click on the Bid Flight button to lock it in. From here you can proceed to the Dispatch page within the crew website to generate your flight plan. More information on the dispatch system can be found here.

At the very bottom of the page you'll find a table of all the pilots who have signed up for this tour, and their progress.

You can see who signed up for this tour, where they're currently located on the tour, their sign-up date, how many legs they've flown, and view their progress.

Once a tour has been completed, it may not be reflown.
