Manual PIREP

Manual PIREPs are for when SmartCARS is unable to automatically submit a PIREP for you. You can access the Manual PIREP page by using the sidebar navigation on the crew website and going to 'Flight Ops', 'Dispatch'.  Once on the Dispatch page, click on the middle blue button at the bottom. 

Please note that Manual PIREPs may only be completed in the event of an error during normal SmartCARS filing. If you are moving forward with the manual PIREP function, please be aware that proof of the flight being flown needs to be indicated in the appropriate box.

Abuse of the manual PIREP system may result in your removal from United Virtual. This is to only be used in the event of a reporting error with SmartCARS.

Fill out the form with all of the information requested. All fields are required to be filled out prior to submission. 

Flight Time - Needs to be in a decimal point format, eg: 5.5

Route - Do not include your departure and arrival airports on this line. Just the route. 

Manual PIREPs will always show as 'Pending' in your flight log, until they've been reviewed by a staff member. Please allow up to 48 hours after submission to get either an 'Accepted' or 'Rejected' status. 

Once all fields have been filled out, click on the File Flight Report button.
